Top 5 Business Apps on iOS in Europe Q3 2022

During the third quarter of 2022, the top five business apps on iOS in Europe showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these leading applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Microsoft Teams experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, starting at around 254K in late June and climbing steadily to approximately 456K by the end of September. The app also saw an increase in weekly active users, rising from 5.1M to nearly 6M over the same period.

Zoom Workplace showed consistent weekly download numbers, beginning at around 179K and peaking at nearly 254K in late August. Weekly revenue saw a noticeable increase, starting from negligible figures in early July and rising to about $12.2K by the end of September. Active users for Zoom Workplace also grew, from approximately 2.7M to 3.2M.

LinkedIn: Network & Job Finder maintained a steady weekly revenue stream, fluctuating between approximately $1.1M and $1.3M. Download numbers remained stable, with a slight increase from around 143K in late June to about 150K in late September. The app's active user base also showed a gradual increase, from roughly 4M to 4.1M.

Adobe Acrobat Reader: Edit PDF saw stable weekly revenue, generally hovering around $180K to $190K. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly but remained around the 110K mark. Active users for Adobe Acrobat Reader increased modestly over the quarter, from approximately 4.6M to 4.8M.

Google Meet (original) showed a notable rise in weekly downloads in late August, reaching about 147K before stabilizing around 104K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, growing from approximately 679K to 714K over the quarter.
